Preserve is being developed by Bitmap Galaxy, a small game development studio based in Slovakia. They strive to make meaningful and amusing games that avoid any unnecessary realistic violence.

-Relaxing world: Calming environment for players to explore and enjoy. Beautiful landscapes, gentle music and tranquil gameplay mechanics that encourage players to slow down and appreciate their surroundings. Preserve does not contain any negative events, ensuring that you can enjoy a stress-free and relaxing gaming experience.

-Visual progression system: Meeting game milestones and completing objectives will allow the player to improve his landscape visually by placing exclusive Preserver buildings and natural wonders on the map.

-Placement based scoring system: Easy to pick-up scoring system, that doesn’t rely on points hunting and scouring the map each time you wish to place something.

-Low-pressure objectives: Not putting pressure on the player, objectives in Preserve are designed to be achievable by new players.

-Creative & Photo mode: Besides regular game mode, creative mode lets you build without limitations and photo mode allows you to capture and share your creations.

-Variability: System of habitats, wide variety of map tiles, terrains, rivers, lakes, animals and natural wonders ensure that no map will look and play the same.

Of course, Preserve is a unique game in its genre that offers:

-Diverse biomes: From tropical rainforests to arctic tundras, each biome will have its own unique set of plants, animals, environmental challenges and mechanics to discover and overcome. Each biome therefore comes with a new small twist.

-Map elevation: Hexagonal map with 3 different elevation levels – lowlands, highlands and mountains play a crucial role in determining what types of plants and animals can thrive in different areas of the map.

-Card upcycle system: In Preserve, players are given the option to exchange a certain number of cards from their hand for a special card (natural wonder), which provides them with unique options to customize their habitats.

-Nature focused: In Preserve, the aim is not to create human settlements, but to build the most diverse nature for the animals to live in.

-Dynamic vivid world: The landscapes you create in Preserve are dynamic and vibrant, full of colorful plants, flowing rivers, roaring waterfalls and animals actively living in their habitats and interacting with their surroundings.

-Vertical map expansion: The player does not only expand the map horizontally, but also uses a unique set of game mechanics to stack layers of nature on top of it, giving the map a vertical as well as a horizontal dimension.

Preserve currently has 3 different game modes:

-Harmony mode offers rewards based on harmony points. Players earn points by creating various habitats, adding animals, natural wonders, and expanding the map.

-In Puzzle mode, players solve challenges on small hand-designed maps using fixed hand of cards to reach specific points goals.

-Creative mode offers unrestricted freedom to build custom maps without any limitations.
